The Moonflower

The Moonflower is a rare, unique, and beautiful flower that grows within the depths of the territories upon sacred land. It is described as a pure white flower with soft, pale green leaves and long drooping petals which, when under the moonlight on the night of a medicine cat gathering, shimmer and appear luminescent.

The flower is said to have immense healing properties; the ability to cure almost any disease. It's even known to make those who inhale its pollen, or taste its dew, feel much healthier. However, if you remove the plant from the grounds where it grows, it will wither and die, and if you remove all blossoms without replanting, the connection to StarClan could be broken permanently. It is important that the Moonflower be treated delicately and respected greatly.

To enter StarClan and speak with the deceased, medicine cats must approach a Moonflower blossom and whisper into it, their eyes closed firmly. This will allow them to directly connect with the cats of the past through a dream-like state. To awaken, cats must simply open their eyes.
